Hispaniola Mental Health, LLC

An estimated 58 million American adults—more than one in five—live with a mental health condition, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), among others. According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), women are more likely than men to receive treatment, such as therapy or medication, for mental health conditions. Although mental health conditions are common, stigma continues to influence how these conditions are understood, discussed, and addressed in society.
